The Requirements Of Dance Competitions Ohio

By Lisa Hill

Due to the rise of dancing groups, there is need to compete to see who are the winners and who need to improve on their tactics. However, before any dance competitions Ohio, some requirements have to be met, and some rules have to be observed. For the trainer of the team has always to ensure that his trainees see these rule and meet all the requirements for them to qualify to take part in the national dancing contest in their country or state.

The registration process is usually done online hence it is the responsibility of the trainer to do the registration for his crew. They have to create a studio account via the online platform or website provided. More so, the coach forms a roster of the trainees, and the data is entered once. Usually, the roster has to capture the ages of the dancers as well as the dancing type.

The moment the trainer has finished creating the online account or studio, he has to proceed to do the registration for his team. Thus, he has to send the facilitators all the documentation that is necessary including the insurance certificates for individuals and the property. More so, he has also to forward the checks that show that payments have been made. It is, however, important to note that there will be no refunds to be made after payments.

If the registrations are late, the team will be charged extra 10 dollars thus it is wise to make the registrations as early as possible. Once all the studios have successfully registered for the contest, they will receive notifications via the email about the schedule of any upcoming contention. More so, each studio is given a grace period in which any corrections of the names of contestants will be done and submitted.

If the studio has failed to meet the deadline, the dancing crew will be disqualified. Usually, there are no corrections that are made after the period is past and no entries can be made via phone, email or the fax. Hence, if the trainer is late, he/she can make his crew lose a chance to participate in the contest.

Once you enter the event, you should know that the directors and facilitators will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur. So all the participants, students, parents, directors of studios or other spectators have to take care of themselves when at the event. To add on that, if they lose any property, the facilitators of the event will not be answerable.

On the off chance, an individual participant has extended the time that is set for the presentation; the team will be penalized especially if the extra time was not paid for and the judges were not informed early. If they win a prize, the deductions shall be made from that award in monetary value thus it is essential to observe time.

Additionally, the soloists are allowed to perform only three solos when they pass to the regional contentions. However, it is not a must that they compete against other contestants of their age. Therefore, the dancing crew has to ensure that they follow the statutory rules if they want to be winners in the dancing contest.
