Hemp is a term that is basically used in referring to type of a high growing cannabis plant together with its and industrial products such as some oils, seed foods and the fiber all made from this vital plant. This plant is also refined to yield other products such as resin, wax, fuel, pulp paper and rope among other products. In reality there are basically various benefits which can be derived from the USA made hemp.

On annually basis an acre of industrial cannabis basically yields as much fiber product as two or three acres of land plantation of cotton. Basically hemp fiber is much softer and stronger as compare to fiber from cotton. Cannabis fiber also lasts twice longer than cotton.

In the USA this plant actually grows in all states and it is tolerant to all types of climates and limited amounts of water for its survival. On the other hand cotton usually requires moderate climates for its sustenance and basically needs huge amounts of water compared to cannabis.

Trees usually have to grow for more than forty years after they have been planted before the get harvested for any use in commercial purpose. Basically this plant takes about four months to achieve a growth height of about twenty feet tall which means that its mature enough to be harvested.

This implies that most farmland in USA can be used to plant hemp especially in those locations where forests needs huge tracts of land. The substitution of trees with this plant would actually save a lot of forested lands and most habitats for wildlife. This also means soil erosion would be counter checked because of logging.

The plant may also be used to substitute cotton in textile industries. This is due to the fact that cannabis is actually more than five times stronger than the usual cotton fiber. This makes it substitute for cotton in in cloth making since all types of clothes can be made from this plan. This plant requires less water and grows in almost fifty states in USA as compared to cotton. In US there are numerous numbers of stores selling products derived from cannabis like the paper products, clothes, ice cream, hemp oil and cosmetics.

Because of the confusing facts about marijuana and industrial cannabis many of the world governments have a believe that in legalizing industrial cannabis they are legalizing marijuana which is not the case. Industrial hemp and marijuana are totally different types of cannabis.

Hemp seeds are also source nutritious flour when the seed are ground. The flour can be used to bake cookies, breads and pasta. In USA literally, wild cannabis grows normally like any other plant throughout the USA. Basically industrial that is grown for industrial use, lacks drug properties as it possess low amount THC content.
