The story begins when the Britannian prince was sent to Japan to be exiled. This was a move by the emperor to appease the people. Before his exile, Lelouch vi Brintannia witnessed the death of his mother which then lead to the paralysis and blindness of his sister. These events triggered vengeful emotions form the prince.
He was granted the power of Geass by a girl only known as C. C in order to save his life. And now he is using the same power to achieve his goal. He had the ability to make people follow his every command and he is now head of a very strong rebellion force. But his revenge consumed him and later change who he used to be.
The intention of the main character in this is plot is admirable like since he aims to free a country from the clutches of a more greedy and more powerful nation. And to some who really have not watched it, he could be a hero. But that could not be entirely true.
One thing that is admirable about this show is the graphical work and detail that was given to it. Although this can be compared to another anime with the same genre, the beauty and the difference lies in the whole story. You can also see the amount of detail which in the action scenes of the different mechas in the story.
One of the things that the viewers liked about it is the many plot twists that are really unexpected. All of these contributed to the entire beauty of the whole story. If you think that the story is boring because of its seriousness, you might be mistaken as there are also times when you would have a taste of its humor.
